My nana taught me to sew.
My Sewing Journey
For my 9th birthday I was given an old singer sewing machine with the handwheel, which I used to make dolls clothes.
My grandmother, being a very talented bridal gown designer and seamstress, taught me about fabrics and how to read patterns. She was an outstanding role model when it came to not loosing ones temper at the sewing machine when things weren't going right.
Sewing has given me comfort during various times in my life, but it was shelved while raising my children. Then two years ago the kid-adults both left home at the same time and suddenly I was faced with an "empty nest". So out came my machines and I found joy from them yet again.
I started tinkering with quilts which lead me somehow to making bags, purses and various other projects which stretch the working capability of my machines, my knowledge and my imagination.
I endeavor to make original products which either serve a purpose, or I think others will enjoy.

RFID Protection
RFID Protection
Our wallets and some bag pockets (where stated) are lined with RFID Blocking fabric for your protection.
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology is used in many modern credit cards, passports, and other identification cards to enable wireless data transmission. However, this convenience also opens up the risk of unauthorised scanning and data theft.
An RFID blocking pocket acts as a shield, preventing electromagnetic fields from reading the sensitive information stored on your cards without your consent.
This feature is particularly beneficial for travelers or anyone concerned about digital pickpocketing, as it provides peace of mind by safeguarding personal data against potential cyber threats.
